mdibb.co.uk is a blog originally about web development and related goings, but now just a place to spout nonsense that is run by Matt Dibb. I am a 20-something living in the North London area who has been dabbling in computers from an early age, and like to think that since then I have developed enough distrust and enough of a dislike for them to maintain my objectivity and normalness.
All of the views and opinions on this blog are my own, but time for some disclosure: I am employed by IBM and work in technology consulting which involves a lot of dabbling in computers - I guess I lucked out and got a job that is pretty much paying me for what I like to do anyway. IBM encourage their employees to get out on the net and get involved with wikis and blogging and things; they generally just get the whole idea about the web and openess, but there is the ‘legalese’ to get through anyway:
The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent IBM’s positions, strategies or opinions.
Just to totally be clear on this: this blog is a personal effort representing my own views/opinions/techniques and so on, and has nothing to do with my employment by IBM. What you read here is merely the output and thoughts from my own head.
If you think I’ve made a mistake or I’ve got something wrong, please leave a comment explaining why - its all part of the learning process for me and others who read this!
Having said that though, IBMers are a pretty friendly and helpful group of people who are more than happy to talk about technology, so if you want to find some more blogs from IBMers, just google the generic IBM blog disclaimer!
